Keywords:
legislation, professional education of midwifes, analysisAbstract
The entry of Poland to European Union created the possibility of Polish midwives’ employment in different countries. In Germany nearly 3,7% of the hospital staff is made by foreigners. This results from data presented in Berufe im Spiegiel Statistik-Bescheftigung und Arbeitslosigkeit. In recent years, the reorganization concerning educational system for midwives has taken place in Poland. Organizations, opened to midwives come into being as well as regulations of midwives’ job. For these particular reasons the review of such documents binding at present in Germany is presented in the work. On the ground of analysis of the fragments of four main documents, it is easily to notice: – the stability of regulations, that have been in effect for a dozen years, – the high midwives’ professional position, the accurate regulations of rewards, – the part of the BDH in giving some opinion about the occupation bill, – the tendencies to unify German’s regulations with the EU Directives, – the high level of the professional education of the future hospital staff, including 4600 hours of the theoretical and practical classes that is monthly payable. Binding regulations in Germany may be a good example of a modern care model in health protection system in Poland.
