Application of informatics systems in medicine- bioinformatics
Keywords:
application of informatics, MATLAB, BioinformatykaAbstract
Special This paper discusses Toolbox Bioinformatica included in MATLAB software as well as its application for the processing of very big data base resources containing information on various DNA types, enzymes, genes etc. This Toolbox makes it possible to scan DNA data base for similar code sequences, scan for differences between particular organisms and defining their origins. It gives tools for analysis of virii, and diseases, and makes it possible to study incurable since now, diseases, as, Parkinson disease, or cancer disease (of various organs). For this purpose, specialised programming languages are used e.g., BioPerl, BioJava, BioPython, BioRuby, BioPipe, BioSQL/OBDA.
