Abstract

This paper presents the results of the archaeological excavations of the Russian team on Soqotra, in the Wadi Hajrya region. At the Hajrya IV site the remains of the local sanctuary of the 6 th -8 th centuries AD were investigated. The Nestorian church was erected here in the 9 th century.
