Exotic trees in the Park in Łańcut part II. Decorative qualities of trees

Abstract

Decorative values of maidenhair tree, yellow poplar, London plane tree, Crimean linden, Soulange magnolia, purple magnolia, Canadian hemlock, blue spruce (var. ‘glauca’), horse chestnut, ash maple ‘odessanum,’ and oleaster were assessed. The evaluation of aesthetic characteristics of exotic trees in the Palace Park was based on tree architecture, shape and color of leaves, flowers and fruits, as well as the bark texture.
