Analysis of bacteriological flora isolated from hospitalisation patients in District Hospital No 2 in Rzes- zow in years 2004–2006
Keywords:
infections, microorganisms, resistance mechanismsAbstract
In the study a retrospective analysis of bacteriological flora of one of the biggest hospitals in the South East part of Poland , namely District Hospital no 2 in Rzeszow, was carried out. Etiological factors of bacteriological infections, which belong to “alert pathogens” microorganisms, were analysed. Their name stems from their antibiotic resistance mechanism. Due to that fact their registration is obligatory. The examined ‘micro organisms were isolated from the patients who were in the hospital from 2004 to 2006. During the analysed period, a decrease of the amount of micro organisms producing antibiotic resistance mechanism ‘was ascertained among pathogens included in the registration.
