Nature valorization of forests in the Czarnorzecko- Strzyżowski Landscape Park

Abstract

Results of nature valorization of forests in the Czarnorzecko-Srzyżowski Landscape Park are presented. The study indicates a large share (48.14%)of forest stands with a high and a very high degree of naturalness, due to the forest stands of older age classes, mostly beech-fir and beech forests growing in the fertile habitats and a small part (4.25%)of forest stands requiring total rebuilding of the species composition. Most of them are forest stands of younger age classes, growing in post - agricultural land.
