Abstract

The article outlines the role of legal culture in the history of mankind and in human life. It was determined that in the category of “legal culture” cultural studies (“culture”) and legal (“law”) phenomena are combined. Seven signs of culture were identified, the concept of legal culture was formulated. It was determined that a person is the main element in the structure of legal culture. Using the principle of isomorphism in the structure of legal culture three parts were distinguished – objective (legal activity), subjective (legal position) and normative (legal regulators). The place of Roman law in the structure of legal culture of a modern lawyer in Ukraine was clarified.
