Analysis of body structure type in children operated because of meningomyelocele on basis of generally accepted classification of coefficients of proportion
Keywords:
meningomyelocele, anthropometry, typogenesisAbstract
The aim of this study was an evaluation of typogenesis in children operated because of meningomyelocele. In order to determine dissimilarity in body structure in this group of children, the comparative analysis of differentiation of body proportions was carried out. The analysis was based on traditional classification which comprises indices of proportion. The results of the study allow to establish a distinct form of typogenesis in children operated because of the meningomyelocele. It should be included into group of disorders being a sequence of abnormalities caused by meningomyelocele.
