Abstract

The aim of the study is an attempt to determine the essence of the services that are the subject of the activities providing administration and their detailed scope on the example of the so-called social services. The analysis of normative acts shaping tasks in the field of labor market services and social assistance services made it possible to identify the organizational assumptions of the current system of administration providing services and allowed to indicate the influence of the principle of subsidiarity and the principle of decentralization on its shape.
