Abstract

Satisfying the needs of the local society in the field of public transport is one of the commune’s own tasks and is one of the most important areas of its activity. It also belongs to the sphere of operation of the providing administration, understood as an activity consisting in directly meeting the needs of individuals with the use of both tangible and intangible goods. The tasks of the commune as an organizer of public collective transport will concern three areas, such as: transport development planning, organization of public collective transport and management of public collective transport. It should be emphasized that the commune may provide services on its own in the form of a local government budgetary entity or commission them to private entities. These activities are aimed at improving the implementation of these services and ensuring their access to every resident of the commune.
