The phenomenon of discrimination and social exclusion of the German minority in Poland was particularly evident in the post-war period and during the communist era. The minority experienced various forms of discrimination from authorities, stemming from political and national tensions. Despite the ongoing integration of the German community, challenges persist due to legal and institutional ambiguities, which may lead to discriminatory situations in the public and professional spheres. Therefore, the protection of the rights of national and ethnic minorities in Poland is a crucial aspect in the process of building a society free from discrimination and social exclusion.
