Abstract

In the article there was characterized the genesis of creating and present legal status of voivodeship road traffic centres, which basic task is to organize and implement public exams for driving licence and act for road traffic safety. The aim of the study is an attempt at evaluation of legal determinant of functioning centres as the council legal person connected with local government at the regional level and the possibilities of and effective realization of public tasks they have been entrusted with.
