Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the principle of social justice in the Polish Constitution. It is mentioned in Chapter I (article 2) in the Constitution of 2 April 1997 and in its wording does not differ much from the December Novelization from 1989. The principle of social justice formulated in the Constitution is ambiguous. Thus understanding of the principle is included in the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Tribunal.
