Abstract

The article describes the localization problems of wind turbines. It also presents conclusions drawn from the Supreme Audit Office control conducted in July 2014 as well as resulting proposals of alterations in the existing law. There have been presented German legal solutions as to the localization of wind turbines, land-use planning requirements for wind energy, conditions for their localization on lands both included and not included in land-use planning and conditions for issuing building regulations approval for wind turbines.
