Abstract

Legal regulations affecting the appearance of buildings are primarily contained in the law on spatial planning and development, building law and the law on the protection of monuments and care of monuments. These regulations affect public space, shaping the aesthetics of the external appearance of buildings in harmony with the environment and cultural values. The aim of the pointed legal regulations is to ensure protection of the appearance of buildings, which affect the quality of life of individuals.
