W kwestii tworzenia literatury dydaktycznej dla chórmistrzów w Galicji na przykładzie „Kursu dla dyrygentów chórów amatorskich” Osypa [Józefa] Chomińskiego

Abstrakt

The article analyzes the prerequisites for the formation of didactic literature for the choirmasters of Halychyna. It was investigated that they consisted in the activation of the choral movement of the region in the 20s and 30s of the XX century and in connection with this, the growing need for the education of practical conductors, the forms of training of choirmasters and the intensity of publications on choral topics in music magazines of the interwar twenty years. It was found out that O. Khominsky’s „Course for Conductors of Amateur Choirs”, published in 1930, was the first publication in Halychyna in which the author comprehensively approached the problems of training conductors-practitioners. The research updates the significance of this publication for the development of Ukrainian conducting and choral art. The historical function of O. Khominsky’s work is emphasized, which consists in the persistence of traditions in the matter of creating didactic literature for the choirmasters of Halychyna.
