Dwarf string bean susceptibility to Arion slug herbivory

Abstract

Fourteen strains of dwarf string bean were tested in 2004 to check their susceptibility to damages caused by slugs of Arion genus. In the infancy phase of growth the green string strains were most seriously damaged. Four weeks after seedling emergence, all tested strains revealed signs of slug herbivory.
