About the Journal
The journal Journal of Education, Technology and Computer Science was published under the name 'Edukacja Technika Informatyka' from 2010 to 2020. Since its inception, the journal has had an international scope; hence, in addition to researchers from academic centres all over Poland, it has published authors from: Armenia, Croatia, China, the Czech Republic, Greece, Germany, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, and the United Kingdom. The scientific committee is represented not only by scientists from the above-mentioned countries, but also from: Georgia, Norway, and the USA.
In 2020, the journal's title was changed to better fit the interests of the researchers publishing in it who are involved in educational research in the broadest sense. To increase the reach and internationalisation of the journal with the title change, the journal is published in English. This is reflected in the number of people visiting the journal's website, reading and downloading articles (currently over 200,000 page views have been recorded).
In order to uphold high standards of quality and publication ethics, articles are double-blind peer-reviewed by an international team of reviewers and also maintain COPE-compliant publication ethics standards.
JETCS is currently the only regularly published academic journal with a broad international reach that is a platform for the exchange of ideas and research results in the fields of technical education, vocational education, and information technology education published in English. This is particularly important in the discussion on technological and IT developments in the era of economy 4.0 and their impact on educational and civilisational transformations.
