Abstract

Research conducted for Biology Olympiad is a challenge for the teacher and his/her student which, on the other hand makes it possible for them to expand their knowledge and interests. A biological experiment conducted under the supervision of a demanding teacher is a valuable experience allowing a student participating in the competition to acquire a number of practical skills. The use of water invertebrate culture provides topics for interesting research in accordance with the requirements of the Biology Olympiad. The article presents a selection of those.
