Agricultural-environmental programs as the component of the sustainable development of rural areas in the Podkarapcie voivodeship

Abstract

Upon the assessment of the scale of completion of the agricultural-environmental activities in the Podkarpacie voivodship, resulting from Rural Areas Development Programme 2004–2006 and 2007–2013, big interest of farmers to agricultural-environmental packages was noticed. The following packages are enjoying the greatest popularity: the organic farming, the protection of soils and waters and the extensive economy on permanent grasslands.
