Beaver (Castor fiber) in the Rzeszów region and the possibility of making young people participate in observing its spread

Abstract

The paper presents the chosen facts concerning the history of beaver habitation in Poland with special attention placed in recent years of its presence in the area near Rzeszów. The non-invasive methods of observation of the rodent’s habitats have also been described in the paper so as to encourage young people to observe the beaver’s spread.
