Formation of biodiversity of non-forest areas in the Magurski National Park

The Magurski National Park (MNP) embraces protected areas characterized by their particular natural, scientific, social, cultural and educational values. The non-forest ecosystems contribute to almost 5% of the park’s area, including meadows and pastures, peatlands, heath and forb communities. In order to preserve their biodiversity, stabilizing active conservation is widely applied in the MNP.
