Changes of milling value of winter triticale choice varieties in dependence on nitrogen fertilization
Keywords:
triticale, milling, nitrogen fertilization, flour yield, total ashAbstract
The significant curvilinear dependences between content of the cover and total ash with applied level of nitrogen fertilization have been found. Hardness of grain and together expenditure of energy during the milling likewise flour yield increased in direct proportion to the growth of N fertilizer rate. The effect of fertilization on flour’s granulation wasn’t so distinct – with the growing rate of fertilization only the participation of middle fractions was increased to flour’s quality advantage. As the most favourable level of nitrogen supply for treated qualitative features was admitted a dose ca. 98 kg per ha (the dose was enumerated by a mathematical method) for the sake of improvement of effectiveness of milling, flour yield and granulation, also in ash content – high, but lower than in control patterns.
