The occurrence of Carabus genus (Col., Carabidae) in the Podkarpacie region

Abstract

There are about 30 species of Carabus genus in Poland. The research presented here was conducted during 1983–2004 in the Podkarpacie Region. It was noticed that there are 14 Carabus species. The most interesitng and also rarest species are Carabus obsoletus Sturm. and Carabus irregularis F.
