The concept of a new environmentalism – an attempt to connect with the topic of conferences “Retardation of transformation of environmental resources - achievements, problems, perspectives”

Abstract

The article recalls the source of the title of five cyclical conferences "Retardation of environmental resource transformation - achievements, problems, prospects" and presents the justification for slowing down the transformation of environmental resources, linking it to transdisciplinary environmentalism. The topics of the presentations of the participants of the five aforementioned conferences were compared. These presentations can be examples of spaces in which problems that need to be solved have been considered. Solving them was related to the retardation of the transformation of broadly understood environmental resources. It seems that such a direction of thought, search for a solution and actions may be necessary for effective protection of resources and is a necessary way of interpreting the far-sighted strategy of human existence.
