Gwarancja a instrukcja obsługi - powiązania dyskursywne
Abstrakt
The subject of the article is guarantee as a text genre in its second dictionary meaning. The responsibility of the seller or producer for the good quality and functioning of the product, ensuring a free of charge repair or exchange should a fault occur before the specified time. In the second meaning: card, guarantee agreement. Guarantee is a text genre specified by legislator’s resolutions, i.e. Consument Act. The function of the text is to regulate those resolutions as part of the purchase contract – therefore formal and factographic information plays a significant role. In cognition aspect of this genre the point of view of the sender is essential – they neccessitate the addresse to read the manual and do not expose the addresse’s rights which results in asymetric communication. Association of guarantee with the manual is conditioned by semantic layer. The discursiveness of this genre regards the bearings on the one hand with the manual and on the other with complaints. Genre complication regards cognitve layer which has both content-related and formal character. In the latest texts we can see guarantee in advertisement and the use of advertisement in guarantee texts.
