Abstract

The Regional University of Blumenau is a public institution with a mission to promote teaching, research, extension and innovation, respecting and integrating cultural diversity, fostering responsible social, economic and environmental development. To address one of regional educational demands, the University created the Arts Department. With the enactment of the law of Law 13,278 / 2016, which includes visual arts, dance, music and theater at the various levels of basic education, the University created in 2017 the first dance degree course in the state of Santa Catarina, completing the four languages offered. In this sense, this experience report aims to present how the supervised dance internship was developed within a school institution in SC. Use the internship report for analysis, comment on the difficulties to insert a dance in the school and the solutions found for the surpluses.
