Humor as a didactic tool in Polish education

The purpose of this article is to show humor in the role of a didactic tool in Polish language education. The first part discusses the impact of humor on the educational process, pointing out both positive and negative aspects of the use of this category. In turn, the second part of the article illustrates specific examples of the use of humor in Polish language education, referring to different types of lessons, concerning literature, language and creative writing workshop. The analysis of the collected materials provides evidence of the validity of the use of the tool of humor, which has a beneficial effect on learning and teaching.
