Young Polish mood in Mieczysław Karłowicz music
Abstract
The article describes the figure of Mieczysław Karłowicz, his biography and creation, characteristic of the era. The publication concerns interpretation of selected poems of Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer – young Polish poet and songs based on it. The work shows how 20th century artists expressed their mood, philosophy and existential angst characteristic of the fin de siècle. The article presents an analysis of works and it show possibility of connecting literature with music in Polish language class in upper secondary school.Downloads
