Dr hab. Wojciech Walat (Poland)

Professor of the University of Rzeszów, PhD in pedagogy (specializes in: general pedagogy, general didactics, computer science didactics, vocational didactics). He heads the Department of General Education and Educational Systems and the Lifelong Learning Workshop.

His research interests include the theory and practice of school books (textbooks, exercise books, dictionaries, school encyclopedias, reading), technical and IT education and the principles of functioning of educational systems in Poland and abroad.

He has been the Editor  the scientific quarterly Education - Technology – Computer Science since 2010 now Journal of Education, Tecjnology and Computer Science.

Author or co-author of over 300 scientific, popular-scientific and methodical publications, including 27 monographs and more than 50 school textbooks, exercise books and technical and computer science curricula for primary schools, junior high schools and secondary schools. Supervisor of 127 bachelor's theses and 90 master's theses, 7 doctoral theses.

Dr Waldemar Lib – University of Rzeszów (Poland)

Academic teacher at the University of Rzeszów, PhD in humanities in the field of pedagogy (specialties: general pedagogy, technical didactics, computer science didactics). He works in the Department of General Education and Educational Systems. He was the head of the E-learning Laboratory and currently manages the Knowledge Optimization and Transfer Laboratory in the Information Society Issues Laboratory in the Centre for Innovation and Transfer of Technical and Natural Knowledge.

Research interests include theoretical and methodological perspectives of education, theoretical and methodological bases for designing and implementing modern (multimedia and traditional) methodological studies in education, research into technical and IT vocabulary of general school students and specialist vocational school students.

Author or co-author of 164 scientific, popular-scientific and methodical publications, including school textbooks, exercise books and methodical manuals for teachers of technology and computer science for primary schools and junior high schools. Supervisor of 29 master's theses, 19 bachelor's theses and 16 engineering theses.

Making a preliminary decision about accepting an article for printing or rejecting it if it does not comply with the thematic scope of the journal.
Substantive support of the executive editor in the decision to publish an article in case of one negative review (the justification is prepared by an expert from among the board members).
Thematic scope (approving the structure of content) of specific editions of the journal.
A vision for the development of the journal (and its modification) over a period of at least five consecutive years.
Providing opinions on candidates for new members of the Scientific Committee.
