Concept of Teacher and Their Social Role

Abstract

The presented article summarizes the selected current knowledge from the field of pedagogywith focus on the concept of the teacher and their social pedagogical role. The main aim of the paperis to carry out a theoretical analysis of the concept of the teacher, the teacher’s typology and theirsocial roles. In the meta-analysis it has been found that the professional group of teachers is verydifferentiated as well as the understanding of the concept of the teacher. Furthermore, it has beenfound that the profession of the teacher includes many social roles that the teacher has to representand in this context we can classify the teaching profession as one that places high demands on a man.
