Success in the labor market requires to gain of professional qualifications and their updating. This process should last a lifetime and can take the form of formal and non-formal education. It is particularly important in the case of professions whose help other people, i.a. social workers. The presented article is an attempt to show the role of education in the process of professionalization of social workers. The article presents also forms of formal and non-formal education among social workers in the Podkarpackie Province.Downloads
