Non-ecological character of life activity of personality as a psychological problem

Abstract

The purpose of our study is to identify the peculiarities of the development of a non-ecologically oriented life activity of personality as the main psychological cause of the global environmental crisis. We believe that the ecologization of personal life activity will help to solve this problem. In conformity with the goal, such research tasks were formulated: 1) to propose the theoretical model of psychological structure of life activity of personality; 2) according to the model, to select the 3) to gather and analyze the empirical data on the features of the non-ecologically-oriented life activity of the students. The results of the empirical study revealed both general patterns and specific features characteristic of the young Ukrainian students in the development of non-ecologically oriented life activity in general, and in different environments of their social activity. The data obtained sets the direction for individual and group correctional work. They can also be used to organize social work with young people.
