Cloud Computing – current state and development prospects in Poland

Cloud computing is now an important trend in the IT market. Cloud Computing services function by delivery and provision of efficient and scalable IT resources (hardware, software and services), and the service provider, which is usually an external subject (or internal IT department), offers IT services to customers via the network. Cloud computing is growing rapidly, both in Poland and abroad, and more often complements or even replaces the classical form of implementation of information technology in organizations. In the paper on the basis of reports and studies research prepared by different organizations the current status and forecast of Cloud Computing development in Poland and in some EU countries were presented. It also identified barriers conditioning the further development of Cloud Computing in Poland.Downloads
