Abstract

Although the study is a voice in the debate on the future of integrated development, it focuses on the past and shows its multifaceted presence and role in the process of managing the present and creating the future. The first part contains numerous arguments, which are an attempt to answer the question raised in its title: Why is the turn of the past particularly desired now? In the next part of the study, questions and postulates were addressed to the creators of integrated development, both theoreticians, practitioners and economic politicians. Instead of a summary, there was a preview about the second part of the article.
