Abstract

Presenting the philosophical security context and its contemporary threats is a purpose of this article, especially from the point of view of the personalism. One of the challenges faced by countries in the postmodern world is to ensure the security for their citizens. A concentration on threats of a military nature in general is visible here, what results in a searching for a remedy to increase the armament potential. In the meantime, the condition of a human as a personal being must lead to the conclusion that only the shaping of civilization, which considers this fact, gives a realistic perspective for not only the duration of mankind, but also its development. It is impossible to think about the future of human, unless the factors that threaten his existence will be eliminated or at least they will be minimized. They remain today: reducting the vision of human and depreciation of the value of life associated with the recalled vision, social bonds crisis, religious crisis and finally moral crisis which is visible through relativism and consumerism. There is a conviction that the change in the area of the safety of human in the world demands a new look. The conviction results from the observation, which is not a very optimistic version. A new look is a must not only in regard to threats facing human and safety parameters, but above all to a human himself. Ensuring safety in the world requires not only technical actions, but also appealing to the philosophical reflection, accordingly the condition of building a human civilization is being based on the personal vision of a human and a social life. Only by granting the status of personal being to everyone with no exception, we will be able to shape the brotherly civilization of people, who are conscious of their status, their possibilities and aspirations and capable to the dialogue and cooperation rather than fighting and extermination.
