Abstract

The transformation of existing animal production systems is essential, from the point of view of their current environmental impact. The options presented, although often proven in practice, are not always applicable due to various constraints. However, effective solutions that take into account the specifics of the species of animals kept and socioeconomic and environmental conditions for sustainable, low-carbon animal production.
