Fees, sources of financing
The editorial office of Acta Iuridica Resoviensia does not charge authors any fees for publishing their texts. In line with the open access principle, access to the journal’s content is free of charge.
The journal is funded from the university’s own resources.
In the years 2022–2024, the publication of the quarterly journal Acta Iuridica Resoviensia is co-financed from the state budget under the program “Development of Scientific Journals,” announced by the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Science of 3 August 2021 on the “Development of Scientific Journals” program (Journal of Laws 2021, item 1514), based on agreement no. RCN/SP/0329/2021/1 (date of signing: 29 November 2022).
The aim of the “Development of Scientific Journals” program is to support Polish scientific journals in implementing their development strategies, including activities aimed at improving publishing and editorial practices, increasing the journals’ impact on the advancement of science, and maintaining their presence in the international scientific circulation.
Activities carried out based on the funding from the “Development of Scientific Journals” program include: implementing anti-plagiarism procedures to verify submitted texts for similarity with other publications; continuing the practice of assigning a digital object identifier (DOI) to each scientific article published in the journal; continuing the practice of subjecting submitted articles to substantive peer review; continuing the practice of language editing for articles accepted for publication; and translating into English the content of scientific articles prepared in languages other than Polish.
