Anti plagiarism system
The editorial office of the journal, in ensuring the scientific integrity of published content, implements procedures aimed at preventing copyright violations, including plagiarism. For this purpose, the Similarity Check system based on iThenticate software is used, which allows the analysis of texts for similarity with an extensive database of online sources and scholarly publications collected by publishers participating in the system.
Plagiarism is understood as the unlawful appropriation of all or part of another person’s work and presenting it as one’s own. The re-use of one’s previously published content without proper citation (self-plagiarism), particularly to artificially increase academic output, is also unacceptable. Such actions constitute a violation of the law and ethical standards in science.
If violations are detected, the editorial office takes appropriate measures, including notifying the institution with which the author is affiliated, as well as other interested parties, including reviewers and entities whose rights have been infringed. Additionally, the text in question is withdrawn from publication, and information about this action is made publicly available on the journal’s website and, if necessary, in its print edition.
