Abstract

The article discusses the current legal regulations concerning anti-doping measures in tennis, emphasizing the complexity of a system based on international and national law as well as the regulations of the International Tennis Federation. It presents the role of the World Anti-Doping Code, the Polish Anti-Doping Act, and the competencies of POLADA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The study outlines the appeal procedures, the structure of sanctions, and the liability of athletes and support personnel, highlighting the importance of proportional penalties, procedural transparency, and the protection of athletes' rights. The conclusion stresses the need for further development of anti-doping law in light of the challenges posed by modern sports.
