The modifications of penalties imprisonment

Abstract

The author of the article deals with imprisonment as a universal kind of penalty, which may be imposed for each offense. The criminal rates of imprisonment embodied in the Special Part of the Criminal Code may be modified by the provisions of the General part of the Criminal Code. The provisions of the General part of the Criminal Code, which may modified the criminal rates of imprisonment, include provisions of § 39, § 41 (1, 2) and § 42 of the Criminal Code.
