Abstract

The article contains a comprehensive analysis of a medical experiment. The analysis was based on regulations of international law as well as Polish legal regulations. The article approaches the issue of legal character of medical experiment and its position in the legal system. The author also presents the historical background of the medical experiment and the evolution of the regulation of international law. The author’s particular interest is the interpretation of ethical standards contained in the Code of Medical Ethics in comparison with universal international codes of ethics.
