The influence of administrative policy science on administrative law and public administration

Abstract

The science of administrative policy, which is mentioned in the classical triad of administrative sciences, was and still is treated marginally. On the one hand, this science is inseparably connected with administrative science, but at the same time it should be the basis for both the science of administrative law and, indirectly, for proper regulation of activities undertaken by public administration bodies or concerning public administration. This in turn indicates how important administrative policy science should be for both administrative entities applying the law and entities constituting the law. The aim of the paper will be an attempt to show the role that the science of administrative policy should play today, especially in relation to the drafting of administrative law and the functioning of public administration.
