Legal regulations for the medical profession as part of the health care system in Poland

Abstract

The study presents legal regulations concerning the exercise of medical professions. This issue has been described as an element of the health care system. The legal issues discussed herein are related to the exercise of medical professions in the territory of the Republic of Poland and include: general classification of medical professions, the exercise of medical activities in the territory of the Republic of Poland by Poles and foreigners. The selection of the examined regulations was dictated by the desire to describe, according to the author, the most sensitive and improvable legal regulations that may improve the health care system.
