Circumstances of establishment, systemal position and activities of the Property Commission in the years 1989–2011 – selected aspects

Abstract

The Property Commission operated in the years 1989–2011. Its abolition was the result of the unanimous will to end the commission’s work, expressed both by representatives of the government administration and representatives of the Secretariat of the Polish Episcopal Conference. The aim of this study is to discuss the circumstances of its establishment, political foundations and selected aspects of its activities. For this purpose, the following research methods were used: analysis of legal provisions and literature.
