Abstract

Along with the increase in technological progress and globalization intellectual property law has started playing a more significant role in the modern world. The United Arab Emirates as a country which is developing rapidly and focuses on achieving economic dominance, noticed the importance of this branch of law. Over the years, a number of legal acts regarding copyright, trademarks and industrial property rights have been adopted in that country. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to present and analyse intellectual property law in the United Arab Emirates.
