On the activities of the Special Court in Rzeszów (Sondergericht Reichshof) during World War II

The article is devoted to the Special Court in Rzeszów (Sondergericht Reichshof). It was one of the German criminal courts operating in the General Government during World War II. The text discusses the legal basis for the functioning of the special courts of the GG, the circumstances of the establishment of the Special Court in Rzeszów, its structure and staff, as well as court decisions (judgments). The problem of reporting on the activities of the special court in the occupation press is also raised. Based on preserved sources, the number of people sentenced to death was calculated. The article was developed mainly on the basis of primary sources (court archives).
