The role and importance of cooperation in a legal-historical perspective

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the development of the idea of cooperation over the centuries and to show examples of solutions in this area. These include initiatives involving entire states as well as individual cities or local self-government units. In addition, the paper tries to show that taking multi-stakeholder actions is usually more profitable than acting alone.
