The article explores the potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in teaching Polish, with particular focus on working with students with special educational needs (SEN). In the context of rapidly developing educational technologies and the growing demand for individualized instruction, AI is presented as a potentially effective means of supporting both teachers and learners in the educational process. The author emphasizes practical strategies for engaging with required reading in diverse classrooms, including students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disabilities. Central attention is given to tailoring AI-supported methods to specific developmental profiles, with differentiated approaches proposed for each SEN group according to their cognitive and communicative needs. The article not only highlights the opportunities offered by AI but also critically examines potential risks. It stresses the necessity of a conscious and ethical use of new technologies, which may serve as valuable support but should never replace the pedagogical relationship.
