Abstract

The subject of this article is an analysis of statutory regulations concerning the education of doctoral students and their application in the regulations of doctoral schools. The article consists of a comparison of the theoretical part and the practical part containing an in-depth meta-analysis of the regulations of 134 Polish doctoral schools. Within the scope of the analysis, the provisions regulating the rights of doctoral students and doctoral students with disabilities were verified, with particular emphasis on legal regulations and an indication of the doubts arising in this area. The conducted research allowed to compose the results, which in turn may become a contribution to further scientific discussions on the analyzed topic and become a trigger for the introduction of inevitable changes in legislation or regulations of doctoral schools.
